240Volt, 50/60Hz, up to 30°C in free air. Derate at 30VA per °C above 30°. Maximum controller case temperature 70°C.

Minimum Speed Setting

Screwdriver adjustment over a wide range of motor speed.

Mounting

MSC1200 -10mm diameter aluminium bush for panel mounting. Alternatively, refer to MSC1200-WP for mounting on HPM switch plate with switch mechanism. MSR2000 – Two mounting holes.

Connections

MSC1200 – Two 130mm leads,24/020 250 Volt V105 PVC MSR2000 – Internal 8/9 way terminal strip.

Shaft

MSC1200 – 6mm plastic, 12mm beyond bush.

Radio Frequency

All Power form controllers are fitted with radio frequency.

Suppression

Suppression networks. Conforms to AS/NZS1044:1995.

APPLICATIONS

Stepless speed control of most permanent split capacitor shaded pole and universal motors. Often used to control the speed of centrifugal and axial flow fans and blowers.

WIRING DIAGRAM

Ensure that the motor to be controlled is suitable for speed control. For some PSC motors, the controller must be installed to regulate voltage to the main winding only, and not to the capacitor winding. To do otherwise could cause motor damage.
