Alderdice Bronze Footvalves Side Outlet

Alderdice Floating Foot Valves are a high quality valve made of Gunmetal Bronze which is suitable for many applications including sea water. The side outlet valve has a top stem which allows two plastic floats to be fitted so the valve floats in the cleanest area near the surface of water source (ie pond or dam)

They have a nitrile faced valve giving a positive non-return seal and the barrel shaped body allows an easy flow around the valve. They also have a coarse suction screen to reduce particles from entering the pump system.

Foot valves are used in pressure systems to hold the prime in the pump and prevent back flow to water source such as pond or stream.

Note: Foot valve is sold without floats. Two floats required for operation.
